Shane and Trey (Enemies to Lover 1) by Anyta Sunday

Summary:
Shane is a little bit screwed. He has just started college and is stuck rooming with that bastard Trey. His sister's boyfriend. His sister's damn fine boyfriend. Uh-oh. This so wasn't going to happen. But try as he might, there's just a little too much to ignore between the two of them...

Wow! This was such and amazing book! So well written, the plot was excellent! It’s a true young adult coming out romantic story. I just absolutely loved it! This is definitely your bully turns lover, it slowly pulls you in, gives you just enough that you want more, so ultimately you can’t put it down.

Shane has just graduated from High School and is on his way to College. He has realized he is gay, but has kept it to himself, afraid of what his family and friend Ryan will think. Only he ends up being outed in a very humiliating way; and loses his friend Ryan in the process. Next he finds out his college roommate is none other than Trey, his twin sister's boyfriend; whom he’s had a love/hate relationship with as well. It’s seem where they could have been friends once, Trey had gone and done something that Shane isn’t sure he’ll ever be able to forgive. You can’t help but want to reach in and comfort Shane.

Trey is struggling, hugely! Ever since he saw what happened to Shane when he was outed, he can’t stop thinking about him. So much so that his relationship with Shane’s sister June is now falling apart. And he thinks he might actually be falling for Shane! So he peruses Shane…gradually. Their relationship is tentative at first, slow and easy. Taking it’s time to build up, since they are both unsure if and where it may go. I love how they don’t rush into things, actually let it draw out and feel there way around each other; getting to know one another. They are so sweet and cute together!

I give this 5 stars…granted there are a few minor mistakes; it is one of the best young adult stories I’ve read in a long time! I highly recommend this! And look forward to many more stories to come from Anyta Sunday!
