Three to Get Ready by Tere Michaels

Summary:
Chicago cop Nick watches his roommate, best friend and secret crush Riley marry the intriguing Lily. He has no idea of Riley’s true feelings for him, or the fact that Lily knows and accepts them.

Dominant Lily wants to give her beloved everything he needs in bed and beyond, even if that means quiet and controlled Nick. Deep down, she suspects the equally dominant Nick is someone she may need as well. Lily pushes a physical encounter and no one is prepared for the intensity of their feelings and desire.

Sex—in every combination possible—is the easy part. The conflict comes when each panics over their increasing emotional connection in their own way. Lily needs control, Nick fears commitment and Riley doesn’t feel he deserves two amazing lovers.

And when a stranger threatens their relationship, their careers…and their lives, Riley, Lily and Nick will need to rely on each other like never before.

Three to Get Ready is the first book by Ms. Tere Michaels I’ve read and I enjoyed her writing style. It's a very good novel; tense, hot, and full of emotion. Very exciting!

The protagonists of the story are Nick Zorcov, Riley Landon, and Lily Henshaw. I just loved them; they are so different and yet they make the perfect and successful ménage.

I'll start with Nick Zorcov, who keeps hidden his lifestyle and his emotions. He hides them so good that no one knows what he is feeling, but he loves Lily and Riley.

Riley Landon married Lily because he loves her but he also feels an attraction toward his friend Nick. However, those feelings do not interfere with his love for his wife.

Lily Henshaw is dominant and hard on the outside but she also has a sweet and tender heart. And although Riley is her soul mate, Nick slowly enters her heart, making his own spot. She has enough love for both of them, and she does her best to help them see that they are all meant for each other.

I won’t tell anything more, I suggest you read and enjoy it... because it deserves the 4 stars I give it.
